You are responsible for your actions / you have no excuse
Josiah demonstrates to us today that we are accountable to God for our actions; he did not use the excuse that he had little or no Godly heritage not to do right and, so that it was okay for him to use the throne of God to do evil like his fore parents. Many people today justify their actions today for many deeds they do by saying that it is what they saw their parents doing and heard their parents saying they are repeating. It is said that nothing in life change except the players, hence the cycle continues. Josiah demonstrates what was said in Ezekiel 18:4b about the soul that sinned shall surely die. He did not say furthermore I am a child so it is ok for me to do things that do not please God. He could have justified his actions if he had done wrong by saying because I am a child I do not know better. He chooses to walk the path of righteousness and please the true and living God.
Josiah’s work
Josiah was instrumental in the rebuilding of God’s

He did not just appoint men to oversee the works on the temple but he also called Hilkiah the high priest to give account for the money/ dues and collection that the door keepers collected. He ensures that the money received was used for the purpose it was collected for. He ensures that the people who dedicated their time and energy to work on the
