Sharing As I Journey Through

Last month I shared with you my diary Entry of April 2009 [Entering the Enemy's Camp]. In sharing this entry, I remembered a piece I completed for my birthday [August 2009]. I very often struggle to get my thoughts across, with clarity and without nerves getting the better of me, so I wrote the information down and read it to the church. I shared it with my fellowship because I believed I had come a long way on the journey towards healing, where my issues regarding parental neglect was concerned. I now share it with you, so that if you are going through anything similar, you can take comfort in the scriptures highlighted in this piece; knowing that God is able to take you through the storms of your life. He will offer you comfort in your time of sorrow and wrap His arms around you (with His loving kindness and tender mercies, as you read His word and communicate with Him) making you feel loved.
As I read the Word of God, I am learning more and more about His character and how I should be. I now know that I was created to worship Him, I belong not to myself but to Him. This morning as I was thinking about that fact the following thought came to me in a song. I have a feeling it will remain a 1stanza song/chorus. It simply but very powerfully states:
God Said, "You belong to me."
That's what I believe
And since He's Love and I am His
Then I've got all I need.
