Ministering Through Songs “From the earth to the cross, [it's] my debt You paid" My Song of Praise: Free Indeed, written 8th September 2010 [Verse 1] You came down, You left Your throne— Your royal status from above; To free me with Your love. Without Your love— Your unconditional love, I’d be lost and alone; Waiting to be found. [Chorus] But because you thought of me, I now have victory. Your love has set me free. Yes, I am free indeed. [Verse 2] You thought of me, While hanging from that tree. Yes, you thought of me… When from hell You took the keys. Now I’m walking in authority, ‘cause I’ve got the victory. From sin I’ve been set free, You’ve given me back my liberty. [Repeat Chorus] [Verse 3] And when I speak, I speak… As an Oracle for Thee. You paid the price for me, Now my life belongs to Thee. I’ve got the victory (x3) Now I live to worship Thee I live to worship Thee (x2) You are my Redeemer. You are my Healer. You are my Provider. You are my Comforter. You are my Saviour My life is empty without You. I can do nothing without You. All the praise belongs to You. I live to worship You. © J. S. Ramkissoon 2010 [Also written as a poem]
Grasping the Meaning of the Songs (1)
By Janice S Ramkissoon
He did it for me. He paid the price for my sins and set me free. It was me that He was thinking of on the cross and today I am debt free all because He chose to save me. I am no longer chained to sin. I am free to worship Him.
