“From the cross to the grave…”

It is a bitter-sweet moment for me when I get to this point.  I’m happy that the scene of the cross is over.  He is no longer having to go through the torture…the humiliation… He no longer have to face the false accusations…no one spiting in his face and mocking him anymore. He suffered and died, for me.  He paid the price required for my sins.  I did the wrong.  But I was born and shapen in iniquity, so I was never going to be right with God.  The only way I could reconnect with God was through, Jesus Christ, His Son.   Jesus was without SIN and so He was the only one worthy to pay the price for me.  He fulfilled His purpose [of coming to earth] and I had the opportunity, once more, to have a relationship with my heavenly Father.  It is finished.
